Holiday Swag Workshop & Candlelit Tour 2026

Gather, forage & get festive at Graycliff!

Join Graycliff Head Gardener Emma Hahn on Thursday, December 3 from 5:30–7:00pm for a festive evening of foraging, crafting, and holiday fun!

Weather permitting, your evening will begin with a little garden adventure as you join Emma outside to forage and harvest evergreen material from around the Graycliff gardens. Then, bring your findings inside and get creative! In the case of inclement weather, all materials will be pre-cut and Emma will review the best seasonal cutting sources you can forage in your own winter gardens on better days. You'll combine your freshly gathered evergreens with dried flowers, seed heads, and other natural materials collected from the gardens throughout the autumn to create your very own one-of-a-kind holiday swag.

Emma will guide you through the process and share tips and techniques you can take home and use to create your own beautiful holiday arrangements for years to come. At the end of the evening, you'll leave with a unique handmade swag and a little Graycliff garden magic to bring home with you.

And the holiday fun doesn't stop there!

Before or after your workshop, enjoy free admission to our Candlelit Open House Tours. Explore the first floor of the Main House and chat with Graycliff docents along the way.

Then, kick off your holiday shopping in the Visitor Center with a festive holiday beverage and a special shopping discount during our SIp & Shop event!
