Jazz on Broadway: The love affair between Jazz and the Theater
The Buffalo Jazz Collective presents timeless classics of Broadway as played by the greatest Jazz musicians. The group will present the music and describe the fruitful interaction between the stage and the jazz club. Following up on recent educational presentations the Collective will provide historical context and musical perspective on why jazz musicians crave the songs of the theater.
