- ➤ Buffalo Niagara International Airport crews have prepared for a significant winter storm by ordering extra salt, grit, and de-icing chemicals and coordinating with tenants. They warned that heavy snowfall could lead to delays around midday Saturday if repeated de-icing is needed. WGRZ
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Catholic Health and Buffalo Medical Group have announced a new partnership to expand local cancer care across Western New York and extend treatment to Niagara County — keeping care personalized by referring complex cases to specialty centers. WGRZ
- ➤ ER doctors at ECMC warn that the extreme cold has led to more severe frostbite cases (some needing burn unit treatment and even possible amputation) as residents are urged to dress warmly and limit prolonged outdoor exposure. WGRZ

- ➤ The Buffalo Bills interviewed former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel yesterday for the vacant head coaching role. McDaniel, who recently interviewed with the Chargers, was the fourth candidate under consideration following Sean McDermott’s departure. WGRZ
- ➤ Philip Rivers interviewed with the Bills for the head coaching role on Friday, following Sean McDermott’s firing earlier this week. The team met with three other candidates and will decide on a replacement soon. WGRZ
