- ➤ The Buffalo Dream Weavers boosted local spirit last weekend on Broadway and Bailey by distributing bagged gifts of hats, gloves & socks to residents in need. They use social media to connect volunteers and plan events like an upcoming Easter basket drive and continued food pantry support. WBFO
- ➤ Community members fighting for the former Kenmore Presbyterian Church on Delaware Avenue gain boost as the Historic Preservation Office deemed it eligible for tax credits. - ➤ O'Neills Stadium Inn lost 20% of weekday sales during a four-day construction pause on Highmark Stadium from Feb. 16 to Feb. 20 in Orchard Park + 1,500 workers were off site until work resumed on Feb. 20, allowing business to recover. WBEN

- ➤ Buffalo City Ballet celebrates decades of Black excellence and mentorship as it marks Black History Month today in Buffalo. Founded in 1972 by Karl Singletary to provide safe spaces for young Black boys, the school continues to nurture local talent in dance. ABC 7

- ➤ At Riverside High, teacher Marc Bruno said the district’s investigative report contains inaccuracies about a student injury from two years ago, and he plans to speak at the next Board meeting to call for corrections (including a clear video preservation policy). WBEN
- ➤ Buffalo State’s Center for Applied Imagination will launch a doctor of professional studies in creativity and change leadership in fall to enhance creative skills; Gerard Puccio said the program builds on the center’s long legacy in creative thinking as an essential workplace skill.
