- ➤ The Buffalo Spring Market started this weekend at the Richardson Olmsted campus and will extend into next weekend — the event is free to attend. WGRZ
- ➤ Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park held a ceremony on Sunday to honor Vietnam and Vietnam-era veterans with guided tours and a wreath-laying at the Veterans Memorial. - ➤ Fire crews responded to a house fire on Nassau Street near Colvin Boulevard Sunday in Kenmore that displaced two families and prompted the American Red Cross to help while everyone evacuated safely, one firefighter was treated at a hospital, and crews continued a search for missing cats. WGRZ

- ➤ Darien Lake added hip-hop and R&B legends to its summer concert lineup with Wu-Tang Clan and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony performing on Aug. 27 and TLC + Salt-N-Pepa + En Vogue scheduled for Aug. 31; tickets are on sale for both shows. WGRZ

- ➤ The Amherst-based 716 Sports project seeks $13 million in tax breaks as its plan grows from a $50 million indoor sports facility into an $80 million venture including a $25 million hotel near the site. Officials are set to review the proposal. The Buffalo News
