- ➤ On March 18, 135 high school students from 10 districts visited Buffalo State to explore teacher education options at the 'Be a Bengal, Be a Teacher' event (a program for juniors and seniors) and toured the campus while attending a panel discussion. Buffalo State University

ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The 21st annual Canal Clean Sweep is set for April 17-19 and will invite volunteers to clear trash and beautify canals and trails across New York. Over 100 cleanup events are planned along the state canal system, with more than 2,500 helpers expected to participate. WGRZ
