- ➤ Eight Days of Hope will assist 100 families in Buffalo's Niagara District with home repairs from July 19 to 26 as volunteers from Western New York and across the country join the effort. The annual event, now in its sixth year, has helped nearly 1,600 families in past summers and will reach more residents this year. WGRZ
- ➤ HER Kitchen — located at 1442 Hertel Avenue — is hosting a farmer’s pop-up shop today from 10am to 1pm with Crown Hill Farm owner Missy Singer Dumars bringing fresh eggs, cheeses, and veggies. - ➤ At the topping-out ceremony for the new Highmark Stadium on Friday, local union ironworker Billy Colern said he has been cancer-free for six months after treatment for stage 4 lymphoma—his colleagues hailed his inspiring recovery—and he remains committed to leading the construction effort.
