  • A Kentucky Derby-themed benefit is scheduled on Saturday, May 2 at Wings Meeting Place in Orchard Park to help Dawn Roller and her son Luke with their medical expenses as they battle cancer. Tickets cost $30 for adults and $10 for kids and include beer, wine, pop, pizza & live music.  ABC 7

  • Western New Yorkers are preparing for a massive Dyngus Day celebration later this week, while Goo Goo Dolls canceled the rest of their Canadian tour dates.  WGRZ
  • Dyngus Day celebrations began in Cheektowaga on Sunday, Apr. 5 as visitors from other states joined early festivities ahead of today's main event. Organizers expect further activities as the community honors this local tradition.  WGRZ
