- ➤ Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said he found discrepancies in Buffalo’s $622 million budget proposed by Acting Mayor Chris Scanlon, noting some revenues are overestimated and others under-budgeted due to reliance on a $26.5 million parking ramp sale that requires state approval + city comptroller and state senator have also raised similar concerns while Scanlon’s office said a statement will be released on Saturday. He also noted that relying on $11 million from the Seneca Nation’s downtown Buffalo Creek Casino is risky and urged a public release of the parking ramp valuation report—details he shared in a letter obtained by BTPM NPR.
