  • The Buffalo Bills and Wegmans are teaming up with FeedMore WNY to hold an allergen-friendly food drive at Wegmans this weekend so shoppers can donate dietary sensitive items at checkout. The Bills Foundation will donate $20,000 to help FeedMore WNY fight food insecurity+ coach Sean McDermott said the drive is close to his heart because two of his children have food allergies.  WGRZ

  • A 10-year-old girl was hit by a white SUV while riding her e-bike at the intersection of Main and Fletcher Streets in Tonawanda at 7:30 p.m. Monday and is now recovering at Oishei Children's Hospital with critical injuries — local advocates say the crash, which happened near the site of last week's cyclist fatality, underlines the need for safer streets.  WGRZ
  • Today, firefighters are responding to a four-alarm fire at Paul William Beltz PC on Church Street near Franklin—City officials closed Church Street from Delaware to Pearl to keep traffic safe.  WBEN

  • KAV Helmets moved its production to a 7,100-square-foot facility at the Barcalo building on Louisiana Street in Buffalo where it will begin assembling and shipping custom 3D-printed helmets next week—fulfilling its promise after winning the 43North competition.   • A Buffalo man who admitted to causing the death of his infant son was sentenced to 15 years in prison — according to Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane.  The Buffalo News

  • A new statue honoring Shirley Chisholm was unveiled at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo today—designed by local artist Julia Bottoms to reflect the trailblazer’s role in civil rights and breaking barriers for Black women.  WGRZ
  • Maid of the Mist launched its 140th season on Wednesday at Niagara Falls State Park, offering 20-minute boat rides that take visitors near the base of the American and Horseshoe Falls. The boat hands out ponchos before departure — a feature many riders say makes the trip a must-do for tourists.  ABC 7

  • YMCA Buffalo Niagara in Amherst said summer camp registration remains open—families can join day camps, overnight camps, and outdoor centers while applying for Access For All financial assistance. West Seneca has over 1,300 registrations and Amherst Youth and Recreation Office will start registration Monday at 9 a.m.  WGRZ

  • Resurgence Brewing Co. will launch its summer pop-up series, Pints in the Park, on Friday, June 6, offering cold beer, local food, live music and lawn games outdoors in parks across Western New York.
