- ➤ The Starpoint Central School District announced Friday that Superintendent Dr. Sean Croft is stepping down and Maureen Braunscheidel will serve as Interim Superintendent. The board said they will provide additional details on selecting a permanent leader in the coming weeks. WBFO
- ➤ Residents and advocates in Buffalo want lasting reform to school discipline policies after Attorney General Letitia James announced a new agreement on discipline reform in local schools. A Saturday workshop outlined next steps for the Solutions Not Suspensions campaign (the local reform effort) with families sharing experiences Tuesday at City Hall. WGRZ
- ➤ Dr. Sean Croft left as superintendent of Starpoint Schools on May 1, and interim leader Maureen Braunscheidel took over to maintain continuity while the board searches for a permanent replacement (after 26 years of service). WGRZ
