ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Eliana Williams—a 10-year-old riding an e-bike bought online—was hit by an Infiniti SUV while crossing Main Street in Tonawanda last Monday evening and is now in critical but stable condition at Oishei Children’s Hospital, with police saying that charges against the 69-year-old driver are not expected. - ➤ Richard J. Fox II, a twice-convicted violent sex offender, was charged with killing two women nearly two decades apart and is suspected in additional cold cases in our area—police say upcoming court dates and investigations will bring more answers. The Buffalo News
- ➤ Buffalo man Hector Anaya, 51—who pleaded guilty in August to fentanyl possession with intent to distribute—was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra Jr. to five years in prison. The Buffalo News

- ➤ Today, North Park Theatre unveiled its new 4k laser projector after months of community fundraising, giving moviegoers a brighter picture and sharper images—supporters who donated were the first to see the upgrade. - ➤ O’Connell & Co. presents INTO THE WOODS on its main stage at 4110 Bailey Avenue in Amherst—this production of Stephen Sondheim’s musical began on May 2nd and will run through May 18th. - ➤ On Sunday, State Senator Sean Ryan accused Acting Mayor Chris Scanlon of planning to sell off cultural institutions (Kleinhans, Shea’s, Sahlen Field, the History Museum, the Museum of Science, and the zoo) during separate news conferences. Scanlon dismissed the claims as false as the rivals debated city finances ahead of the June 24 mayoral primary. WGRZ
