- ➤ Officers from University Police, Amherst Police and New York State Police negotiated with a driver in distress near UB’s Flickinger Court apartments Sunday night—after he exited his vehicle with a knife and threatened to harm himself for four-and-a-half hours—he was apprehended shortly after 2:00 a.m. Monday and taken to Erie County Medical Center for evaluation while charges are pending. - ➤ A 17-year-old girl was killed Sunday at her home in North Buffalo and her 24-year-old brother was charged with murder—police say he faces multiple charges including second-degree murder and is held without bail. ABC 7

- ➤ Buffalo State's Post Production Diversity Initiative has trained 22 participants—students and community members—for careers in video editing and audio mixing over the past eight months.
