- ➤ Officers from University Police, Amherst Police and New York State Police negotiated with a driver in distress near UB’s Flickinger Court apartments Sunday night—after he exited his vehicle with a knife and threatened to harm himself for four-and-a-half hours—he was apprehended shortly after 2:00 a.m. Monday and taken to Erie County Medical Center for evaluation while charges are pending. - ➤ Buffalo State's Post Production Diversity Initiative has trained 22 participants—students and community members—for careers in video editing and audio mixing over the past eight months.
