- ➤ Today, over 2,000 supporters joined the Summit Center’s annual Autism Walk — raising nearly $280,000 to support its programs — showing strong local unity. WGRZ
- ➤ On Saturday, local groups Fare Share WNY and Groundwork Market Garden held their fifth annual plant giveaway on Buffalo's East Side—supported by Councilmember Mitch Nowakowski—to help families grow fresh food and build food security. - ➤ Stream Data Centers will build a $6.3 billion data center on 60 acres at the STAMP site in rural Genesee County next year, and the Tonawanda Seneca Nation opposes the plan—citing stormwater runoff, noise, and risks to treaty-protected lands. The facility is set to cover 900,000 square feet, supply power to tens of thousands of homes, and create about 122 jobs. The Buffalo News
- ➤ Governor Kathy Hochul said Friday that she will work to bring the NFL Draft to Buffalo and western New York—citing the region's strong hotel and transportation capacity. Local officials and the Bills organization expressed support and will work with partners to make the event happen. WGRZ
- ➤ Buffalo council members are trying to avoid a hard control board period as the city struggles with a budget gap and low reserves—Mayor Scanlon and his team plan spending cuts and a hiring freeze to save money.
