- ➤ On May 14, a day of service and remembrance will mark three years since the Tops on Jefferson massacre that claimed ten lives. Ekua Mends-Aidoo of the Clementine Gold Group said the event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for service projects and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.—with work at gardens on Cherry and Jefferson, at 37 Mulberry, and at a High Point care facility—to honor the victims and inspire ongoing kindness. - ➤ Natalie Barnhard-Castrogiovanni, a Western New York native using a wheelchair, was featured on TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress this weekend as she prepared for her wedding with husband Steve.
