- ➤ Cheektowaga Police seek help finding two missing teens—15-year-old Lamar Wilson was last seen near Eggert and Tudor Roads in all black with a black backpack and gold suitcase, and 17-year-old Jordan Williams was last seen at a Rite Aid parking lot on Harlem Road in Amherst in a red and white hooded sweatshirt with red striped pants and a black backpack—and urge anyone with tips to come forward. - ➤ Federal prosecutors oppose early release for Michael Masecchia— a 58-year-old former teacher and reputed Buffalo Mafia member serving three years of a seven-year sentence for drug trafficking— arguing that granting compassionate release on disputed medical grounds would undermine public trust given court testimony linking him to organized crime. - ➤ Erie County leaders announced that they plan to consolidate jails and build a new holding center in Alden after unveiling the proposal Friday morning.
