- ➤ A Lancaster man, Da’Ron Lipscomb, 33, received a six-month prison sentence in U.S. District Court for evading border officials on June 26, 2024—he drove past the secondary inspection at the Peace Bridge and lost control of his vehicle. WGRZ
- ➤ A judge ruled the charges will not be dismissed after a mistrial in the Fillmore Avenue nightclub shooting trial — defense attorneys received evidence from the first trial that police had witness statements saying the shooter was female. The Buffalo News
