- ➤ On Tuesday night at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, NYSDOT Special Assistant Rich Fontana updated more than 75 community members on plans to restart talks over the Kensington Expressway project after a permanent injunction halted progress—he said the department will soon begin more robust community engagement without confirming a new Environmental Impact Statement. The update comes as community groups like ROCC and the East Side Parkways Coalition remain divided over whether to continue with the cap and tunnel plan or to restore Humboldt Parkway. WGRZ
