- ➤ Federal lawmakers are debating SNAP changes that could shift costs to states and pressure Buffalo food pantries. Felician Community Services reported that the Sister Mary Josette Pantry now serves about 1,000 people monthly and saw 121 visitors in one day (donations have not kept pace with rising demand). ABC 7

- ➤ A fatal shooting at a Wegmans distribution center in Gates on Saturday led to produce shortages at local stores while officers arrested 32-year-old Kyshonn Green in Tennessee on Sunday in connection with the death of 25-year-old J’Mere Ridley-Smith at the warehouse on Brooks Avenue & Wegmans said that distribution will be restored soon.
