- ➤ Frightworld in North Buffalo is holding auditions this weekend at the old KMart on Hertel Avenue to hire 175 workers for a spooky fall season. General manager Trevor Feger said job roles include scare actors and event staff and that candidates will perform in five themed houses—one of which will be unveiled next week. WBEN

- ➤ The Grand Island school district changed its earlier decision and now will let high school senior Sabrina Steffans display her parking spot design that has a Bible verse and religious images—she fought an initial rejection—.
