ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ At 3:30 a.m. Saturday, a car crashed through a building’s front door on Buffalo’s East Side—igniting a fire that spread through every floor and briefly rekindled before firefighters controlled it—with overall damages estimated at $240,000. WGRZ
- ➤ The NTSB is investigating a tour bus that rolled over on the Thruway—killing five people while en route from Niagara Falls to New York City. WGRZ
- ➤ A fire on Friday night led the Buffalo Fire Department to call to 113 Forest Ave at 10:30 p.m., and city officials declared the building a total loss so an emergency demolition was requested while nearby properties at 117 and 111 Forest Ave suffered $80,000 and $10,000 in damage (cause under investigation). - ➤ The City of Buffalo ordered an emergency demolition of a Forest Avenue house — a fire spread to nearby houses and prompted the safety action. WGRZ

- ➤ On Saturday in Buffalo, the 16th annual Gina Davis Walk Ride 4 Hope united locals to support all types of cancer. Organizer Gina Davis, a 16-year breast cancer survivor, led a motorcade — with vehicles representing various cancers — and said more events and a new Gina Davis Citadel will open to help patients in coming years.
