  • Johnson Estate Winery in Westfield near Lake Erie honors WWII hero Frederick Johnson who earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and later founded New York’s oldest operating estate winery. Under third-generation leadership, the Johnson family has expanded the vineyard and is pursuing historic landmark status—marking a blend of courage and innovation—while producing award-winning wines.  WGRZ
  • Buffalo honored Henry Moxley, an 1800s abolitionist born into slavery who fought for desegregation, with a new granite marker and bronze plaque at his unmarked grave in Forest Lawn Cemetery on Friday—local historians and community leaders led the dedication—to acknowledge his lasting impact on the city.  WGRZ

  • Dr. Andrew Hyland from Roswell Park spoke on Spectrum News 1 about DropTheVape, a texting program aimed at helping young vape users learn about the dangers of vaping.
