  • Buffalo’s Hofbräuhaus reopened for the Christkindlmarkt on Friday, November 21 at 4 p.m. and the market will run for five weekends, offering 59 vendors, live music, family fun, and community tree lighting events (featuring gift collections for local kids).  ABC 7
  • Rescue dog Nosey Nola, adopted by local Buffalo Bills fans, climbed her backyard fence in a Josh Allen jersey — her viral videos have drawn praise from neighbors and social media followers. The dog's skill and determination have made her a local favorite.  ABC 7
  • On Friday, community members lined up at the SPCA Serving Erie County pet food pantry event—donating food so families can keep their pets during hard times. The pantry reported that monthly meals have increased from 20,000 to over 60,000 to meet the growing need.  ABC 7

CRIME NEWS

  • On Thursday in Irving, the SPCA and local authorities seized more than 200 neglected farm animals—including 10 cats, 6 dogs, 46 chickens, 2 baby goats and 22 adult goats—and will return to rescue 75 more as veterinarians assess the animals while the farm owners face charges for neglect and unsanitary conditions.  WBEN

CULTURE NEWS

  • Visit Buffalo is launching the 'That's Buffalo' campaign to attract visitors from Chicago, Cleveland and Central New York by opening a new visitor center in the Chandlery Building at Canalside—marking a major step in redeveloping the old Buffalo Aud site. The campaign also has a local art installation by Reinhard Reizenstein that shows granite footprints—telling his family's journey.  WBFO

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The New York League of Conservation Voters released an interactive map yesterday that shows millions of New York water service lines, with 45% of Buffalo’s pipes confirmed as lead—raising concerns as federal rules require replacements to start in 2027 and finish by 2037. GOVERNMENT NEWS

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Buffalo Bills lost 23-19 to the Houston Texans Thursday night at NRG Stadium — the game saw eight sacks and three turnovers after a strong 4-0 start — and this result raises concerns as they face Pittsburgh on Nov. 30. They have not missed a game in over 20 years and continue to host a tailgate featuring grilled ribs, sausages and burgers (despite neither being actual chefs).  WGRZ
  • Michelle Yates returned to Buffalo after 44 years to attend a Bills game with her boyfriend and daughter—she carried her late uncle's ashes in her backpack to honor a trip postponed two years and said her life is complete. Her heartfelt tribute shows that family ties remain strong even after a long absence.  ABC 7
  • Buffalo Bills fans will soon be able to purchase memorabilia from the current Highmark Stadium as its farewell season ends after Erie County amended its lease so CollectibleXchange can salvage and sell items—net proceeds will be split equally with the county and pricing details will be announced in the coming weeks.  ABC 7
