- ➤ FeedMore WNY, the Buffalo City Mission, and Friends of the Night People will share a $1 million gift from Jewish Philanthropies— the funds will help feed more of Buffalo's hungry residents. The Buffalo News

- ➤ Colvin Cleaners launched its 30th annual Coats 4 Kids event Monday by partnering with West Herr to collect winter coats, gloves and hats at its Elmwood in Kenmore and Valu Homes Centers. - ➤ WavePoint 3PL, a Pennsylvania-based firm, is teaming up with Buffalo officials to build a $25 million, 300,000-square-foot warehouse at Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park—set to hire at least 55 workers—with county votes on incentives coming on Dec. 17; if approved, construction will begin early 2026 and the center will open by late 2026. - ➤ Workers are restoring the interior of OLV Basilica in Lackawanna as a team of 16 repairs plaster, paint and water damage from 5pm to 5am Monday—Friday so that weekend weddings and masses can go on, Father David LiPuma said he sees progress every day. The work ties to the basilica’s Centennial Celebration while the exterior copper dome repair will finish in 2027. WBEN

- ➤ Rev. James Lewis is leading a coalition of East Side leaders—and partners from the Buffalo/Niagara chapter of the National Action Network—to lobby lawmakers to lower rising auto insurance premiums that many families find unaffordable. The group met with legislators including Assemblywoman Crystal Peoples-Stokes and Assemblyman Jon Rivera as New York rates remain among the highest in the nation. WBEN
