- ➤ Local women at Amberleigh Senior Living in Williamsville have knitted nearly 4,000 hats, bonnets, & blankets over four years to keep infants and toddlers warm this winter; they welcome donations of yarn and supplies to continue their mission. ABC 7
- ➤ The annual SPCA Serving Erie County Radiothon will air on WBEN and 107.7 The Wolf Thursday in West Seneca to raise funds for over 12,000 animals through new adoption programs and donation options (via YourSPCA.org and a dedicated hotline). WBEN

- ➤ Erie 1 BOCES is offering free haircuts for all ages in Cheektowaga throughout December to give students career training. - ➤ A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Buffalo metro area and southern counties until 10 a.m. today, with light snow and rain creating slippery road conditions and hilly areas south of Buffalo expecting 4 to 6 inches of accumulations. Drivers should use caution on their morning commute. WBEN
- ➤ The New York DEC launched the 'Don't Be Salty, New York' campaign to warn that road salt harms local waterways—one teaspoon can contaminate five gallons of drinking water and damage wildlife. Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper tested streams this fall and will take more samples in early spring. ABC 7
