- ➤ Mercy Flight will acquire Finger Lakes Ambulance pending New York State Department of Health approval after five years of joint work to enhance emergency services in Western New York; air ambulance operations will remain unchanged once the merger is complete. WGRZ
- ➤ Erie County Health Department warned residents that flu, RSV, whooping cough and Covid-19 are on the rise as the post-holiday sick season begins. Local clinics are preparing for more patient visits and advise residents to monitor symptoms closely. The Buffalo News

- ➤ Developer Douglas Jemal sold the Wegmans property at 675 Alberta Drive in Amherst to Benderson Development for $7.03 million, according to filing documents. Jemal said he will shift his focus to downtown Buffalo projects (pending his Boulevard Mall sale) as he exits Amherst. WGRZ
