- ➤ Tom Golisano's $50 million gift will fund a new pediatric outpatient mental health center at the soon-to-be renamed Golisano Children's Hospital, adding partial hospitalization services for local youth. The project will expand mental health care across Buffalo. The Buffalo News
- ➤ Flu season began early in Western New York as one doctor reported a high increase in cases and a new H3N2 variant that lowers natural immunity, making getting the flu shot critical. WBEN
