The Green Startup Challenge

About this event

The Green Startup Challenge is a weekend-long entrepreneurship experience built around one question: Can you turn a real challenge in urban agriculture and our local food system into a business opportunity?

Throughout the weekend, teams will have access to mentors, industry experts, and business leaders who can help them strengthen their ideas and prepare for the final pitch. Teams will work to address one of four focus prompts:

• Growing, Gardening & Greening the City

• Getting Locally Grown Products to People

• Reducing Waste & Reusing Resources

• Helping Urban Agriculture Businesses & People Thrive

The grand prize is $1000. Other winning teams will receive free business incubation services from Broadway Business Hub , including mentorship, business development support, workspace, and connections to help bring their ideas to life.
