Mapping Invasives on Grand Island

About this event

Join us and WNY PRISM in person for a fun and interactive session as we practice being community scientists on Grand Island! We’ll identify and map invasive species to help protect our local ecosystem. Whether you’re a nature newbie or a seasoned pro, this is a great chance to learn about our ecosystem, and make a real difference. Come ready to discover, connect, and help keep Grand Island beautiful!

WNY PRISM will be our teachers for this event. WNY PRISM (Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management) is one of 8 regional partnerships in New York State created to help prevent or minimize the harm caused by invasive species to New York’s environment, economy and human health. We look forward to partnering with them to help track and manage the invasive species on Grand Island.
