Embroidery 101: Basic Techniques and Stitches—November 7, 2026 (10:00am–1:00pm)

Begin your embroidery practice with an overview of the materials, setup, and basic stitches that are integral to almost every project you will undertake. Your instructor will guide you step by step through the creation of a colorful sampler—designed with space for you to finish at home while reinforcing the skills you learned in class.

SKILLS REQUIRED: No previous experience is required.

INSTRUCTOR: This workshop will be led by a member of the Refugee Women’s Workshop with support from Stitch Buffalo staff.

CANCELLATION POLICY Due to the nature of our classes and the preparation required, class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend a class, your registration fee cannot be refunded or transferred to another class.

Class Cancellation by Stitch Buffalo: Classes must meet a minimum enrollment in order to run. If Stitch Buffalo needs to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will be notified 3–5 days before the scheduled class, whenever possible. In the event that Stitch Buffalo cancels a class, participants will receive a full refund of their class fee. For each class, Stitch Buffalo offers one seat at half-price to a student or community member who otherwise could not afford to attend. To inquire about availability, please e-mail us .
