About this event

Learn from local author Patricia Bond during this introductory class! Classes may be taken individually but it is recommended to take all to understand how to write your story. Session 2: For the second 4 week session of Writing Genre Fiction, we will delve deeper into the subjects from the first session. We will talk more about character development, mood and setting and how to portray them, plotting, point of view, and self-editing. Participants should expect to do classroom writing exercises as well as some (minimal) "homework" writing. Come with your paper and pen or tablet or whatever you are most comfortable with for writing. A big part of the class will focus on the writing itself with in-class critiquing an integral part. Also, self-editing will comprise a significant part. Tuesdays 6:30-8:30PM starting Sep. 29 CAC Members: $25/class General Admission: $30/class
